Stephen J. Scherf, and Raymond McGarry, Esquire (an experienced trial attorney at Brown, McGarry Nimeroff, LLC) spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s program entitled Minority Shareholder Freezeout Litigation. Their presentation which was part of the day long seminar discussed negotiating and settling the case and provided practical aspects to resolving these matters through settlement discussions and mediations. Mr. Scherf has testified on numerous occasions in these types of matters and similar matters involving disputes among owners. In addition, Mr. Scherf has frequently acted as a neutral valuation expert in these matters.
