Hurricane season started yesterday. Will NOAA’s prediction of a busier than normal season hold true?

Uncharted Territory

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to alter the economic landscape. Businesses have closed or are closing in many sectors. After 80 years and four locations, the Copacabana in New York has closed, and at least two Philadelphia restaurants, Old City’s Farmicia and Mad River in Manayunk, don’t plan to reopen. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London may close, and Pier 1 will likely wind down since it has not found a buyer. Even businesses that are reorganizing may have done so in a manner that raises the ire of their creditors and complicates the process. Lenders have sued Saks, claiming their reorganization was a “shell game,” and Hertz paid executive bonuses just days before filing for bankruptcy.

If your business appears to be on the endangered list, needs to wind down, or you need help deciding what to do and not do while you reorganize, Asterion can help.
