Despite interruptions to dockets across the globe, claims for commercial damages continue to be asserted. Residents of New York’s 432 Park Condo are seeking $125 million in damages for alleged flaws in design and construction. Macy’s has filed suit to prevent Amazon from renting the billboard on Macy’s Herald Square store. CVS is suing a new hire’s former employer over the unenforceability of a non-compete agreement. Meanwhile, a Danish museum loaned an artist $84,000 to create a sculpture. Instead, the artist mounted several large blank canvasses in an exhibit entitled “Take the Money and Run.” We suspect the museum (or its’ insurer) will soon be making claims and filing suit.
