Stephen J. Scherf, CPA/ABV, CVA spoke at the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Emerging CPAs conference held in Harrisburg, PA on October 28, 2010. Mr. Scherf discussed trends in Fair Value Measurements and the steps required to properly conduct various fair value measurements including proper methods for allocation of the purchase price of an acquisition and the proper ways to test for impairment of goodwill and other intangible assets.
