Scherf, CPA/ABV, CVA taught day three of The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts Advanced Business Valuation Course: Application & Models which was held on November 9 through 11, 2010 at the Hotel Monaco in Downtown Chicago. This course is taught to experienced business valuation professionals that wish to expand their skill base. Topics included in day three include the valuation of pass through entities, estate and gift tax issues including Chapter 14, issues encountered in divorce, small business and professional practice valuation including the allocation of professional and practice goodwill and finally fair value for financial reporting purposes.
